The Mount Pleasant Art Exhibition
The Art Exhibition will transform the Mt Pleasant Community Centre into an art gallery and will be held over two days; a ticketed Gala Evening opening on Saturday 15th Friday 6-9pm (R18), continuing on Saturday 16th September from 9am - 3pm (gold coin donation entry), in what promises to be an entertaining event for the whole community.
Over 40 talented artists will be exhibiting more than 500 pieces for sale - artworks, jewellery and sculptures.
A live auction of donated artworks will take place at 7:30pm.

The annual Pipe Band art show is back!
Showcasing the work of talented professional artists, the art sale offers you the chance to own remarkable local art while supporting our Pipe Bands. With many wonderful artists from all over New Zealand contributing artworks, this is a fabulous opportunity to snap up a unique piece for your home or office.
Your purchase will directly contribute to our Pipe Band World Championships 2023 and National Championships 2024 fund. You will also have the chance to win $500 towards a piece of your choice with our Art Show raffle – entry forms will be available in the Centennial Chapel throughout the Art Show.

Expressions 3 - Art Exhibition and Auction
This event is an annual event and a major fundraiser staged by the Rotary Cub of Rotorua Passport. The major beneficiary this year will be the Child Cancer Foundation (Rotorua)

An exciting and unique exhibition!
Sally-Ann Davis and Nancy Tschetner both bring different perspectives and artistic styles to their respective mediums of print-making and painting.
Skyscapes and seascapes are fascinating subject matter that allows for a wide range of artistic interpretation. Aotearoa, with its diverse natural landscapes, provides a perfect canvas for this exhibition.
As a collaborative exhibition, it will be interesting to see how the artists' styles complement each other and bring a cohesive vision to the overall exhibition. The contrast between the crisp lines and textures of print-making and the sparkly texture and natural shades of sand will create an intriguing visual experience for viewers.
Overall, this exhibition promises to be a celebration of the beauty and complexity of Aotearoa's natural world. It will be an opportunity for viewers to appreciate the artists' talents and gain a deeper appreciation for the unique environment of New Zealand.
Christchurch Art Show

National Art Ex
Founded in 1982, Harcourts Artex National Exhibition and Sale is the major fundraiser of The Rotary Club of Greenmeadows Napier.
All of the proceeds from this event are gifted back to the Hawke's Bay Community via the Artex Community Grant and smaller gifts.
Harcourts Artex is not just a fundraiser, it is a significant cultural event. It is an opportunity for art
lovers to see a diverse collection of paintings, all in one place, featuring the work of top artists from

The Tale of a Whale - a whale tail to be precise
It's not often that we spot a whale in the Waikato, but for a limited time, you can catch a glimpse of one in a local Hamilton studio!
Hamilton-based artist Nancy Tschetner is renowned for her ability to take a kaleidoscope of the natural colours found in sand and generate detailed and mesmerizing artwork. Recently she has moved from the classic canvas into a more dynamic surface; a 180x170 cm 3D whale tail sculpture!

Nancy has adorned the tail with a design created from over ten shades of New Zealand sand and crushed glass.

This truly unique and elaborate work of art needs to be seen to be believed.

Our Annual Exhibition is held in mid July annually with an Extravaganza Opening Night on the Friday. It then runs every day from 11am to 5pm (late night Wednesday till 7pm) closing the Sunday 10 days later at 3pm. This year's exhibition opens with a Gala opening on Friday 2nd July, thereafter open daily from 3rd to 11th July.

The Soiree provides ticketholders an opportunity for a first look and purchase ahead of the opening of the event to the general public.
This year’s event will be open daily to the general public from Saturday 19 June to Sunday 20 June.

Baradene Art Show
Welcome To The 2021 Baradene Art Show
Now in its 32nd year, this legendary event showcases over 750 works from more than 130 contemporary NZ artists, both established and emerging. We have artists from across New Zealand, many from Auckland and even some past students. We like to think we can celebrate female artists - but love having male artists too.
This Art Show is the Baradene College PTA's major annual fundraiser, with proceeds contributing greatly to the development and enhancement of facilities and learning opportunities for all students throughout the school.
The Gala event runs from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday 21st May and is catered by our sponsor, Gattings. Click here to purchase tickets.
The Art Show is then open for free entry from 10am to 4pm, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May. Raffles and a cafe will be available during the weekend.
